Peer Reviewers

At The Rubrics Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies, we adhere to a double-masked peer review policy, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the evaluation process. In line with this policy, we do not reveal the identities of our reviewers in our published issues or on our website. This deliberate choice is grounded in several key principles:

  • Ensuring Reviewer Autonomy: Facilitating an environment in which reviewers can deliver honest and impartial feedback without fear of retribution or external pressures.
  • Mitigating Potential Conflicts: Taking proactive measures to reduce the likelihood of personal or professional conflicts that may emerge from disclosed identities.
  • Ensuring the Integrity of the Review Process: Manuscript evaluations must be conducted based solely on academic merit, devoid of any external influences or pressures.
  • Alignment with Best Practices in Academic Publishing: Our policy aligns with established standards in academic publishing, as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We prioritise maintaining the confidentiality of the peer review process to uphold the integrity of our scholarly activities.

Assurance:

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all reviewers whose identities are not publicly disclosed. Their invaluable contributions play a vital role in upholding the high academic standards of The Rubrics Journal. The expertise and dedication of our reviewers are essential to our mission of publishing outstanding research in Interdisciplinary Studies.
