Abstract

Perovskite compounds in the ABO₃ class have become a popular area of study due to their remarkable properties and wide range of applications. The ABO₃ formula consists of elements A and B, which can appear in various valence states, along with oxygen atoms. Perovskite materials are crucial for the progress of various industries, including microelectronics, telecommunications, solar cells, LASER technology, LEDs, and gas sensing applications. In addition, these perovskites exhibit a wide range of electrical, dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric, pyroelectric, magnetic, thermal properties, colossal magnetoresistance (CMR), and photovoltaic characteristics. This article provides a thorough analysis of the different methods used to synthesize oxide perovskites and highlights their wide range of applications in various fields. This review article aims to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the synthesis and application of ABO₃ perovskite compounds.
